FDX - OIDF team met FDX. a call scheduled for Sept 13th in DC. - FDX wants to work closely with OIDF . Considering Including (RFC) the protocol in FDX standard. - Proposed a partnership before OIDF applies for CFPB. Seems positive discussion.

- FAPI 2.0 Status Update
- Organizations/ecosystems are interested in status of FAPI 2.0 and timeline
- Spec is nearing final
- There are 6 outstanding issues remaining and PRs to address them are in the works
- The expectation is that the issues will be resolved in a couple of weeks
- Once issues are resolved, the 60 days public review period will start
- Spec should be finalized around the end of the year.
- Draft is sent to foundation secretary and 60 days preview is going to start soon
- There is no requirement to validate ID token by Client. As per Dima this seems to be a gap in spec. Certification passed the test. https://gitlab.com/openid/conformance-suite/-/issues/1375
Proposal from Dima and Michal to address this. We may have already sent the spec to secretary. Any changes from review we can include this proposal as well.
