4. External Organizations & Liaisons Updates

  • Working on annual FAPI recertifications for Open Finance Brazil and Open Insurance Brazil
  • January 2025 was one of the largest months for certification requests
  • Coordinating with Dima on a follow-up meeting with CMF in Chile
  • Dima is working on a reference architecture for a white paper
  • CMF will provide input while OIDF continues supporting their FAPI 2 adoption
  • Will notify all ecosystem partners about the FAPI 2 finalization

PR #534 - History to Message Signing Spec

  • Received multiple approvals
  • No objections raised
  • Decision: Merged during the meeting

PR #530 - Adding Reference to Cross-Device Flow to FAPICEBA

  • Received 2 approvals
  • No objections raised
  • Decision: Merged during the meeting

PR #529 - Open for Some Time

  • Nat noted Tim's comment has already been addressed
  • Request for reviewers to look at this PR
  • No decision made; awaiting reviews

6. Issues Discussion

Issue #719 - FAPI2-MS Add Reference to Security

Issue #722 - Summary of Changes Between FAPI2SP ID2 and Final

  • Dima reported he has prepared a document summarizing the differences
  • The document has been reviewed by Philip and Joseph
  • Invitation for others to review, especially those who have implemented Draft 2
  • Particularly relevant for vendors and implementations that need to adjust to FAPI2 Final
  • Target: Gather feedback this week and publish as soon as possible

7. Any Other Business

  • Nat suggested starting to look at implementation notes in future meetings
  • Shared link to open issues related to Implementation & Deployment Advice
  • Agreement to begin reviewing these issues from next week
