Updating an Osmose configuration

In Osmose configurations, the parameter osmose.version specifies the Osmose version that was used.

Running a configuration with a newer Osmose version than that indicated by the osmose.version will print a message indicating that the configuration needs to be updated:

Updating a configuration file

Updating a configuration file can either be done from the command line or from R. Using the command line, the -update option needs to be added:

java -jar osmose_4.4.0.jar -update configuration_4.3.3.csv

Forcing the use of an outdated configuration

There is also the possibility to force Osmose to run an outdated configuration file. This is done by adding the -force option:

java -jar osmose_4.4.0.jar -force configuration_4.3.3.csv
