Tutorials and Workflows
We developed a set of tutorials to answer user specific needs when using the Osmose model. The developed tutorials are complementary and hence we advise that you go through them in order to find the method that fits best for you. We illustrate the .md extension of these tutorials here, but find other .pdf and .html extensions in the Osmose guideline repository.

How to format the configuration parameters in Input and Output?
-
How to set up a configuration script? Users can build their configuration in two main ways. The simpliest way is to build it manually (example with the version 4.3.3 ). This tutorial is structured by blocks of parameters to help the user decide which set of parameters they need based on their data. This tutorial is useful for building the skeleton of your configuration script. However, users might likely experience redundant copy-pasting exercises for some specific sections, e.g. for species-specific parameters when the set of parameters required to be copy pasted for each studied species or equivalently for fisheries-specific parameters. To avoid this step, we are currently developing a tutorial for an automated version that will generate user configuration based on the parameterisation.

How to parameterise species-specific parameters?. The tutorial provides a map of all methods used to parameterise the different species-specific parameters (i.e. key parameters finishing with
.sp). Users will be able to first produce a CSV file containing all parameters for a given species, which is then used to generate an auxiliaries configuration script gathering all species-specific parameters. -
How to define species climate niche distribution ? (coming soon)
