The optional sounds directory contains WAV and/or OGG files that can be played within an application. WAV files must be uncompressed single-chunk 16 bit pcm at 44100Hz sampling rate. OGG files must have 44100Hz sampling rate. Both stereo and mono files are supported.

Note that Android is picky about sound file names, and will not accept non-alphanumeric characters like hyphens and underscores.

For example, if test.ogg is included in the sounds directory, it can be loaded and played as follows (requires the audio module):

(audiofile-init)
..
(set! myid (audiofile-load "test"))
..
(audiofile-play myid)

Note that the argument to audiofile-load has no file extension.
