Web Cockpit Guide

The Web Cockpit exposes input data, configuration changes, run states, planning results, and analysis evidence for learning, evaluation, and operation.

Main entry points

  • Capability Demo selects integrated datasets, configures allowed resources, runs scenarios, and displays results.
  • Scenario Lab presents input tables, object relationships, constraints, baseline solving, adjusted reruns, and result changes.
  • Scenarios and Data describes scenario attributes, business context, dataset status, and readiness.
  • Objectives and Rules shows objective materials, weights, operational rules, and planning linkage signals.
  • License Information reports the active license, level, expiry, and resource limits.

For operational use, retain input versions, configurations, execution evidence, and audit results together.

Product role of the Web cockpit

The Web cockpit places data tables, object relationships, objectives and rules, runtime parameters, solving progress, analysis, and before-and-after changes in one workflow. Users can inspect and operate the capabilities, learn how they work, and evaluate their results.

Typical workflow

  1. Understand datasets and business objects in the scenario and data view.
  2. Configure supported parameters and run real solving in the capability demo.
  3. Inspect inputs, constraints, process, and baseline results in the scenario lab.
  4. Adjust an objective weight the page allows you to edit, rerun, compare changes, and explain causes. For fixed-objective scenarios, review the baseline first.
  5. Use result evidence for pilots, training, or the next configuration cycle.

This interface lets users move from aggregate indicators to specific orders, resources, and configuration changes instead of receiving only a result table.

Edit business rules, work centers or resource calendars in the relevant data or orchestration recipe, then reload and run again. Read-only data tables help you inspect inputs; they do not edit arbitrary business records. Run parameters are limited to the controls and ranges exposed by the current scenario and license.
