Business facts enter computable structures through standardized interfaces. Management objectives and shop-floor rules are expressed separately. Standard actions compose reusable execution flows. Models and optimization produce plans. Analysis explains delivery, load, waiting, changeovers, and deviations. Feedback then enters the next planning and scheduling cycle.
The Research Edition supports learning, evaluation, and scenario preparation. The Commercial Edition supports licensed integration and operational use. Both editions share the same capability language.
The hardest part is rarely producing a planning table. It is ensuring that data represents the business, objectives and rules match management intent, the plan can be acted on, and deviations return to the next cycle. DecisioWorks provides data interfaces, configuration points, run records, result drill-down, and feedback mechanisms for these tasks.
- master planning, production planning, and scheduling;
- operation-level BOM, material readiness, and inventory constraints;
- high-mix, low-volume production, complex routes, and frequent changeovers;
- shifts, maintenance, shared resources, and dynamic capacity;
- rolling planning, disturbance response, and planning linkage;
- pre-build APS validation, enhancement of existing systems, and AI Agent access.
DecisioWorks starts with computable business semantics. Data sources, rule configuration, action composition, model adapters, and user interfaces can change independently, allowing manufacturers and partners to add scenario-specific capabilities on top of existing components.
Start with one bounded scenario, retain the baseline, adjusted configuration, run evidence, and human review, and then decide whether to expand data, scope, and integration.
Continue with the Whitepapers, Design Principles and Differentiation, the Scenario Learning Guide, and the Glossary.
