Supported eye trackers

Optikey supports any eye tracker that can control a mouse cursor - for this, your eye tracker software must have an option that gives you continuous pointer control, i.e. where the mouse cursor follows your eyes everywhere.

Optikey also has native support for a number of eye trackers, listed below.

Previous versions of Optikey

If your eye tracker is not listed here, you may wish to look at earlier versions of Optikey - see Understand The Different Optikey Versions for more information.

Other input methods:

Optikey is designed to be used with an eye tracker, but you do not need one.

If you have an eye tracker which isn't yet fully supported, you may be able to use mouse emulation to control Optikey.

You can also control Optikey with a standard mouse, or a head mouse such as Headmouse Nano or Smyle Mouse. You can even try using a webcam if you want to try it out.

Adding full support for new eye trackers may be possible - if you have an unsupported tracker then get in touch and I will see what I can do: help@optikey.org
