Multiple monitors
Optikey works with the following setups:
-
A single monitor
-
Multiple monitors with a mirrored setup (both monitor and laptop showing the same screen)
-
Multiple monitors with an extended desktop only if Optikey and your eye tracker are set up on your primary monitor
As Optikey was originally designed with a single monitor in mind, if you find any incorrect behaviour with a multi-monitor setup, please report an issue and describe your monitor setup. We have several users with 2-monitor extended setups working extensively with Optikey, but there may be certain workflows that have been overlooked.
