Atmospheric transmission

Tonatiuh++ offers four different types of modelling related to the atmospheric transmission, these are the Vacuum, Exponential, Polynomial, and Mirval. The user can find the air transmission models by selecting the World tab at the right vertical panel as shown in Figure below. Double-clicking the Air button will bring-up a pop-up window where the user can select the transmission model.

The Vacuum model as shown below, assumes that the transmissivity is 100% irrespective of the distance as shown in Figure below.

The Exponential transmission model is shown in Figure below, where the user can select the desired exponent constant.

The Mirval transmission model is shown in Figure below.

The Exponential transmission model is shown in Figure below. The user can select here either a Custom set of coefficients, or a polynomial model from the following available list: VittitoeBiggs_clear, VittitioeBiggs_hazy, Ballestrin_clear, Ballestrin_hazy.
