Procedural design of heliostat fields

Taking into advantage the enhanced scripting capabilities of Tonatiuh++, CSP fields can be now designed and simulated very fast via procedural design. Figure below provides examples of the capabilities of the program in terms of designing central receiver heliostat fields of different layouts. Characteristics related to heliostat dimensions, tracking mechanism, receiver dimensions, tower height, heliostat spacing etc can be easily set within the script.
