No. Casting and reeling still require player input. Avid Angler prepares the active fishing action for your input.
one-key fishing uses one configured key for the current fishing action. It can cast while idle, change to bobber interact during a cast, then return to the next available action after loot.
double right-click lets you double right-click empty 3D world space to run the active fishing action. It is separate from ordinary right-hold camera movement.
HUD is recommended because it shows the next action with an icon and short status text. Button is a smaller icon-only option.
Yes. You can hide or show it from Settings, or right-click the minimap button or Addon Compartment entry.
The score watch is a small Midnight progress panel. It can appear while fishing and after score updates. It shows score progress and useful targets.
Hide Trophy hides trophy fish from the Midnight score list when you want to focus on ordinary score gains.
Midnight scoring is the first supported scoring system. Older expansion meta-scoring may be expanded in a later release.

Yes. Use Reset Session in the history view or type:

This resets the current session start point. It does not delete all-time catch history.
