Yes. It reads the same Info.json format and uses the same Mods/ / Mods.inactive/ folder structure. You can use both interchangeably.
Yes. Both operate on the same folders. DV Mod Manager watches for external changes, so mods moved by other tools are detected automatically.
Yes. Built with Avalonia UI (cross-platform), published as a self-contained Linux x64 binary.
Yes. The manager detects the game via Steam's Linux paths. DVModProfiles also supports Proton/Wine path resolution.
No Info.json in the mod folder (or it's misspelled). The manager can still activate/deactivate it, but dependency resolution and update checking won't work. See Mod Compatibility.
No. It just moves the folder from Mods.inactive/ to Mods/.

- JSON: just the profile metadata (mod IDs, versions, states). Will download mods while importing.
- ZIP: self-contained bundle with all mod files. Larger, but works out of the box. Great for custom mods that aren't public.

No. Mods not in the profile are deactivated (moved to Mods.inactive/), not deleted.
No. DV Mod Manager works fully without it. DVModProfiles adds save-game associations, Steam Cloud sync, and per-profile mod settings.
No. Client-side only.
Open UMM settings in-game (Ctrl+F10 -> Settings), uncheck the sync toggle for DVModProfiles.
