Export Formats

JSON

Exports only profile metadata (mod IDs, versions, active states). Small file, but the recipient will download all missing mods, if possible.

ZIP

Exports a self-contained bundle:

• profile.json with the profile metadata
• mods/<ModId>/ with all mod files

The recipient can import it directly without downloading anything else.

Exporting

1. Open Manage Profiles
2. Select the profile
3. Click Export
4. Choose JSON or ZIP
5. Save the file

Importing

Open Manage Profiles and click Import

Security

ZIP modpacks contain executable mod files. Only import modpacks from sources you trust.

Redistribution

Mod files in the ZIP are included as-is. Original authors' licenses apply - check them before publicly redistributing modpacks.
