Installation

Download

Go to the latest GitHub Release and download the archive for your platform:

• DVModManager-win-x64.zip (Windows)
• DVModManager-linux-x64.tar.gz (Linux)

Windows

1. Extract the ZIP to a folder of your choice (e.g. C:\DVModManager\)
2. Run DVModManager.exe
3. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click More info then Run anyway (the app is not yet code-signed)

Linux

1. Extract the archive:

   unzip DVModManager-linux-x64.zip

2. Make the binary executable:

   chmod +x DVModManager

3. Run:

   ./DVModManager

First Launch

On first launch, DV Mod Manager attempts to auto-detect your Derail Valley installation by searching Steam library folders. If detection fails, you can set the path manually in Settings.

The manager creates its data directory on first run. See App Data & File Locations.

Updating the Manager

When a new version is available, a notification appears in the status bar. Download the latest release from GitHub and replace the existing files. Settings and profiles are stored separately in the app data directory and are preserved across updates.
