Mod Settings Sync

DVModProfiles captures and restores per-profile mod settings, so switching profiles also switches each mod's configuration.

What Are Mod Settings

Many UMM mods store their config in Settings.xml files within their mod folder (keybindings, feature toggles, gameplay parameters, etc.). Normally these are global. Changing them affects all profiles. DVModProfiles makes them per-profile.

Auto-Capture

When you switch profiles, DVModProfiles saves the current Settings.xml content for each active mod under the outgoing profile name.

Restoration

When a profile is applied, saved Settings.xml content is restored for each mod. If a mod has no saved settings for that profile, its current settings are left alone.

Steam Cloud

If Steam Cloud Sync is enabled, per-profile settings and your DV Mod Manager profiles are synced across machines with the profile data. When setting up the DV Mod Manager for the first time on a new machine, launch the game once with the companion mod installed and then quit to synchronize your DV Mod Manager profiles. All your synchronized profiles from your other PC should now be available to select in DVMM.
