Crafting and Survival

JetSetCraft is usable in normal survival worlds. Ride gear is a persistent item, can be crafted, can carry NBT/enchantments, and follows ordinary inventory/death behavior.

Current craftable equipment

  • Neo Inline Skates
  • Neon Quad Skates
  • Street Deck
  • Street BMX
  • Flux Hoverboard
  • Neon Street Scooter
  • Graffiti Spray Can
  • Paint Balloons in all sixteen vanilla dye colors

Recipes use ordinary Minecraft materials such as iron, leather, planks, sticks, copper, redstone, and an ender pearl for the hoverboard. Each shapeless balloon recipe combines dried kelp, paper, and its matching dye to make eight. Recipe viewers such as JEI can display the exact layouts.

Equip and death behavior

Right-click a ride item to move one copy into the dedicated loadout. Swapping equipment safely returns the old stack to inventory, or drops it only when the inventory is full. With keepInventory disabled, equipped gear drops on death just like carried equipment. With keepInventory enabled, it persists through the player clone.

Enchanting skates

Inline and quad skates have an enchantment value and accept movement/fall enchantments relevant to footwear. Boards, BMX, hoverboards, and scooters intentionally do not inherit boot enchantments; they keep room for a future equipment-specific upgrade language.

World progression

JetSetCraft does not require a separate dimension or quest line. Strong routes emerge from normal progression:

  • Find or create ice roads for speed.
  • Build powered-rail grind routes.
  • Use slime and bubble columns for launches.
  • Use Soul Speed to make Nether terrain part of a line.
  • Discover Aether quicksoil or Twilight Forest structures when those optional mods are installed.
