Modern and Upcoming Mob Gangs

Mob Gangs · Original vanilla roster · Per-mob profile standard

Last source reconciliation: 2026-10-14. This restores existing approved work from JETSETCRAFT_CLAUDE_FINISH_EXECUTION.md, T363–T368. Names below are preserved project decisions, not newly invented replacements.

Content release and JetSetCraft support are different facts. JetSetCraft's documented Forge 1.20.1 baseline does not natively contain later Minecraft mobs. Each needs a supported newer-version port or an installed, verified backport/provider. Design coverage does not prove current runtime support.

Released modern additions and life stages

The following 12 approved entries extend the original atlas. Ghastling is a Junior/life-stage entry, not a second unrelated adult faction.

Existing identities whose treatment must change

  • Zombie Horse / Night Mares already exists in the old atlas. Mounts of Mayhem makes it relevant to ordinary newer-version mounted encounters; do not leave a universal “technical-only” restriction on all providers or create a duplicate gang. Preserve the old-version availability gate.
  • Tiny Takeover changes baby designs and life-stage presentation. Update the Junior Atlas and rigs, including each applicable variant; do not count remodeled babies as dozens of new species. Official release.
  • Wilderness Bound is the latest released drop listed by Mojang at this check. Its Dappled Forest uses existing sheep, chicken, cow, pig, rabbit and fox populations, with cold variants where applicable. Add biome flavor to their existing gangs rather than inventing a new species for each biome. 26.50 release changelog.
  • Warm/cold farm variants stay with Hog Wild, The Milk Run and The Pecking Order; wolf variants remain Pack Mentality. Coral Zombie Nautilus remains a Dead Reckoning variant/chapter. Preserve individual appearance and choreography adaptations.
  • Dried Ghast, Copper Golem Statue, projectiles, particles and decorative blocks are not automatically recruitable living mob species. Verify the actual entity/life-stage model first.

Upcoming vanilla: Frostbite

Mob Approved gang Unlockable alternate Hook Status
Frostbite Freeze Frame Cold Snap freezing and ice-projectile challenges Snapshot/testing, not a stable release at this check

The September Live recap introduced an unnamed frozen zombie. The newer Java 26.4 Snapshot 3 explicitly names Frostbite, so use that official newer name in display/reference data while preserving stable gang identity. Official snapshot, 2026-10-06. Revalidate mechanics and final registry identity when the release/provider is available.

The Sift: keep approved designs, track actual availability

Mojang confirms the Sift for Java & Bedrock in 2027; Dungeons II and vanilla release coverage must remain separate. The announcement does not promise that every Dungeons II creature will enter vanilla. September 2026 official recap.

The 23 crew and five legendary rows below are the project's previously approved Sift design roster. Per-creature official naming, actual provider identity and vanilla inclusion remain individually unverified here, unless subsequently sourced. Preserve provisional labels and semantic archetypes without promoting them to guaranteed vanilla entity IDs. Dungeons II's official page confirms the Sift and Blub pet, but is not a complete Java/Bedrock roster.

Stable identity and naming rights

Preserve one namespaced gang_id per approved crew. Registry/provider entity identity, semantic archetype and visible gang name are separate fields. At the configured Crew Naming Rights threshold, expose the curated alternate as a one-click preset plus server-permitted custom aliases.

Renaming must never split reputation, recruits, alliances, Chapter state, rewards or save identity. Support personal aliases versus shared-world aliases explicitly, permissions and recoverable moderation history, and default/alternate restoration after reload/reconnect.

Every new mob receives a complete profile

Each row inherits the full profile standard: individual music track/version/source and cue purpose; dance creator/video/timestamp and rig adaptations; eventual tagging art; personality/quirks; abilities/tells/counterplay; challenge modes; concrete unlocks, recruitable characters and skins; rival-gang control interactions; provider/version status; and performance/runtime evidence.

The recovered hook columns are authored JetSetCraft directions, not assertions about upstream attacks or habitats. For example, Blub Club's aquatic direction remains a project concept until habitat/rig behavior is verified. Do not fill missing music or dance references with made-up links.

Keep the roster current without fragile version assumptions

  • Restore T363–T368 rows into the canonical data-driven atlas; retain all 23 Sift crews, five legendary profiles and 13 modern catch-up entries.
  • Reconcile all living entity registrations on each supported target build/provider against the atlas; report every unclassified ID rather than silently dropping it.
  • Maintain separate source-game, announced/testing/released, provider-present, data-authored, runtime-wired and gameplay-verified fields.
  • Resolve exact entity IDs from the installed registry or official target-version data, not guessed labels. Keep unimplemented future profiles dormant.
  • Link new baby/variant rigs and parent progression; avoid duplicate species counts for Ghastling, remodeled babies or cosmetic variants.
  • Recheck official stable and snapshot changelogs at each compatibility update. Fan suggestions, old mob-vote losers and rumors are not confirmed release mobs.
  • Preserve boss ownership, tame/owner state, source AI and mod lifecycle. Legendary Sift profiles are rare encounters, not mass roaming populations.
  • Test aliases, unlocks and roster identity across save/load, reconnect, provider removal/reinstall and display-name migration.
  • Cache registry reconciliation at load/reload; no world-wide per-tick scans.

This is a restored, source-status-checked design catalog. Full runtime coverage and each individual media/art profile still require the implementation and verification gates above.
