MoccaSins

Identity and progression

Owner-selected canonical gang name: MoccaSins (exact capitalization), replacing Thundersteps. Unlockable alternate names are Thundersteps, Drumrunners, Neon Shawls, Rhythm Daughters, and Powwow Dreamers. These are progression unlocks for the same gang, not a shortlist or additional factions. Drumrunners is explicitly a high-reputation option; exact gates for every alias remain to be defined. Preserve stable gang/member identity and campaign progress when renaming. Exact reputation threshold remains unspecified.

The creative brief is a Native American powwow-inspired music and dance crew with memorable, richly detailed CPM members, genre-appropriate clothing, hair/secondary motion and excellent on-foot/skating choreography. Develop the music and movement from specific Native artists' and dancers' references; distinguish observations from inferred cultural provenance and avoid treating distinct traditions as interchangeable.

Shared requirements: music-driven choreography, reactive audio and crew systems, including original challenger reveals, high-reputation/level eligibility, individual challenge victory before recruitment, and reference-inspired unlockable member skins. Numerical thresholds, member roster and individual abilities/challenges remain design decisions. No implementation or runtime performance claim is made here.

Selected October 13, 2026. The original four titles/artists were checked against Spotify page metadata; the thirteen additions above use supplied link metadata and retain the exact selected track IDs. Independent metadata/listening review of the additions remains pending; detailed listening, beat/phrase analysis and in-game cue assignment remain pending. A song's selection does not by itself establish its cultural classification or validate a particular dance/costume pairing. Do not invent BPM, key, drops or performance observations.

These are owner-selected track references. Playback, reactive rearrangement, synchronization and distribution must follow the actual authorized provider/asset capabilities. Preserve the project's reported Spotify permission context while verifying the scope needed for each implementation. Do not claim these songs are integrated, extract audio or infer stem/remix rights from the URLs. Retain an original/licensed game-native reactive-audio route.

Costume/design reference

THUNDER-DESIGN-001: Xay Balam clip, explicitly selected for costume/design inspiration.

Partial browser review: the post labels itself creator-labeled AI-generated, uses Mexico/Azteca/Maya tags, and names Humo De Bisonte in the caption. A viewed frame shows a feathered headpiece, long dark hair, dark patterned clothing and metallic-looking accessories. Those are visible design cues, not verified cultural provenance or proof of powwow regalia/choreography. Preserve the owner's visual inspiration accurately without inferring the creator's nation, ceremonial meaning or production reuse rights. Saving this costume reference does not select its soundtrack for the music register above.

Implementation and acceptance backlog

  • Review all seventeen selected tracks and record actual musical structure/cues, source provenance and permitted implementation capabilities.
  • Research specific Native creator/dancer references and appropriate collaboration; keep music, costume and dance origins clearly documented.
  • Develop original, distinct member model sheets, genre-grounded outfits, detailed CPM rigs, expressive faces and stable hair/accessory motion.
  • Prototype signature dances, moving skate choreography, crew formations, entrances and combo-reactive musical payoffs with readable gameplay.
  • Implement all five unlockable names using canonical reputation and stable gang IDs; define their qualifying ranks separately and migrate the former Thundersteps display name without losing progress.
  • Develop memorable recruitable members: eligibility -> original challenger reveal -> individual challenge victory -> recruitment unlock, plus reference-inspired cosmetic skins.
  • Reconcile rival control, borrowed-power removal, independent defeat, surprise-event arbitration, biome-aware courses and temporary rave presentation with the shared campaign.
  • Test animation/contact/physics stability, native frame/tick times, startup/loading, multiplayer, persistence, accessibility and complete event cleanup.
  • Improve performance alongside features without capability loss, arbitrary collection/content/population caps or regressions. Attach exact-build tests and captures before claiming completion.
