Doors
Craft three Wooden Doors from six planks in a workbench:
Plank Plank Empty
Plank Plank Empty
Plank Plank Empty
Place a door above a solid floor with two empty cells of headroom. It uses one item. Aim at either half and right-click or press E (your bound Interact key) to open or close it. Holding right-click toggles only once. Crouch to place another block against a door.
Connect blue Signal Conduit or supported Signal Wire to the lower cell, then connect a lever or button. A change to ON opens the door; a change to OFF closes it. No electricity is needed. Manual use still works between signal changes. Removing a live cable sends OFF; attaching an already-OFF cable leaves the current position alone.
Closing waits if you or a creature occupies the doorway, then finishes when clear. Mining either half or removing its floor recovers one complete door. Saves preserve doors and their open/closed positions.
See Blue Signal for wiring. The industrial Workshop Hatch is a separate item.
