Build, connect, and troubleshoot your workshop. These guides describe the current playable game, including Creative testing. Save checkpoints preserve worlds and their stored resources across restarts.
Start here:
- Machine interfaces — identify the machine you opened and find its controls.
- Items — browse icons, item uses and individual recipes.
- Crafting recipes — complete reference for crafting and processing recipes.
- Pipes and wrench — all-face connections, blue input/red output arrows and hands-on setup.
- Build a multiblock tank — exact shopping list, each layer, outward-facing controls, filling and repairs.
- Pumps and renewable water — intake height, a 2×2 source pool, and pumping without electricity.
- Electricity, batteries and battery banks — generate power, store surplus, and keep machines running when generation stops.
- Wooden doors — crafting, manual opening and blue cable control.
- Blue Signal and separate connections — switches, valves, sensors and fitted pipes.
Browse the item pages for crafting grids, processing recipes and gathering instructions. Every item icon opens its page. In the game, open your inventory, find an item in the right-hand catalog, and inspect its recipe. Industrial assemblies require the Machinist’s Bench (4×4); the browser shows the required station and ingredients.
In Creative, drag items from the catalog into an empty inventory or hotbar slot. Double-tap Space to toggle flight; Space rises and Shift descends in flight. On foot, Shift crouches and Ctrl runs; double-tapping forward also starts running. Controls can be rebound. Use E or right-click to open machinery; signal and shaft controls are relative to the machine’s visible front. Power and supported item/fluid pipes connect on every face. To change a pipe-end direction, hold a Wrench and right-click its machine-facing end.
New machines face you when placed. Use ROTATE 90° in their interface to adjust existing placements. Configured pipe directions stay fixed when the machine rotates.

Build a Workbench for 3×3 crafting, store supplies in a Chest, and process materials in a Furnace. The Machinist’s Bench expands crafting to 4×4.
Use Escape → Save Game to create or update a checkpoint. Load Game chooses a named save or previous backup; Continue Latest Save on the title resumes the newest checkpoint. Save & Quit saves first. Closing the window does not autosave. Creative mode and flight reset on load, while saved items and construction remain.
