Weapon
There is a lot of information here. The name of the weapon is at the top of the sheet. After that there is:
Melee Weapon - tick this box for a melee weapon, untick it for a missile/thrown weapon
Improvised - tick this box for improvised weapons. This will automatically add a -5 skill penalty
Skill - select the relevant skill type for this weapon. It is very important that this matches the Skill Type on the relevant skill as this is used to calculate the chance of success. E.g. a Dagger uses the dagger skill, and the Dagger skill should also have dagger selected as the skill type. This way the two items are linked even if you choose to name the weapon and skill something different.
Mounted - can this weapon be used mounted, on foot or in both situations
Damage Source - this again is important as the choice determines the damage done - character uses the Damage Score as D6, Brawling uses the Damage Score as a flat modifier, Horse uses the horses damage and None adds nothing
Additional Damage D6 - this is an bonus (positive value) or penalty (negative value) number of dice. Just enter the number (e.g. 3 or -2 not 3D6 or -2D6).
Bonus D6 vs No Armor - this is the bonus(positive value) or penalty (negative value) number of dice vs an unarmoured opponent. Just enter the number (e.g. 3 or -2 not 3D6 or -2D6).
Bonus D6 vs Mail - as above but for an opponent wearing Mail
Bonus D6 vs Plate - as above but for an opponent wearing Plate
Damage Bonus - this is a flat modifier, not a number of dice.
As an example if a weapon does character damage plus 2D6+3 this would be entered as Damage Source = "Character", Additional Damage D6 = "2" and Damage Bonus = 3
Max Damage D6 - this is relevant to some missile weapons and is the maximum number of D6 for the overall damage
Advantage - for melee weapons only - this is free text
Disadvantage - free text to show are disadvantages for the weapon
Range - for missile weapons - select the range
Rate of Fire - for missile weapons only
When added to a character sheet the weapon has the following fields available
Quantity - You may want to edit this (eg if carrying four javelins) rather than adding multiple items to the character sheet.
You can add notes about the Weapon here
This will display any active effects associated with the Weapon - this will be transferred to the character.
A space for the GM to add notes that the players won't see
At the top right of the tab you will see an orange "help" icon that will open this page from the Wiki.
