Getting Started

FarmPath is designed around a dashboard-first workflow. Before entering a lot of data, spend a few minutes setting up the core parts of the app.

Recommended First-Time Setup

1. Open Settings from the dashboard.
2. Complete Farm Profile so your farm name, address, contact information, and logo are stored.
3. Open General Setting and review:
   • Home Screen Options
   • Appearance
   • Navigation Settings
   • Farm Fitness Tracker
4. Open Payment Accounts if you want payment buttons on sales.
5. Open Backup & Sync and decide how you want to protect your data.
6. Create your first herd, product, place, and vehicle before recording regular activity.

Understanding the Main Dashboard

The Farm Dashboard is the app's home screen.

The top row opens the three main work areas:

• Land Management
• Fleet Dashboard
• Animal Dashboard

The main action buttons open:

• Accounting
• Event Planning

The dashboard also includes:

• A gear button for Settings
• A tune button to filter and reorder widgets
• Up to three custom shortcut buttons configured in Home Screen Options

Home Screen Options

Open Settings > General Setting > Home Screen Options to customize the dashboard.

From that screen you can:

• Turn widgets on or off
• Show or hide alert dots
• Add up to three custom buttons
• Set the weather location by address or latitude/longitude
• Save property addresses used by the Property Overview widget

Widgets You May See

Depending on your setup, the dashboard can include widgets such as:

• Weather
• Money in / money out
• Recent sales
• Recent expenses
• Upcoming bills
• Scheduled events
• Animal reminders
• Maintenance reminders

Screen Navigation

Most screens include a consistent Home button and Back button in the header. This makes it easy to return to the dashboard or move back one screen without getting lost.

If you are setting up FarmPath for the first time, this order usually works best:

1. Farm Profile

8. Backup & Sync
9. Accounting records
10. Map and planning tools
