Land Management and Maps

FarmPath includes both live field tools and planning tools.

Fleet, Equipment, and Vehicles

The Fleet Dashboard is the starting point for tractors, equipment, and vehicle-related work.

Use it to manage:

  • Tractors
  • Equipment
  • Vehicles
  • Maintenance records

This part of the app works closely with both the Map screen and the Accounting screens.

Map Screen

The Map screen is the live field-work screen.

Use it when you want to:

  • Track movement in the field
  • Follow saved coverage or route patterns
  • Select a tractor and implement
  • Record breadcrumb trails
  • Save or reopen patterns
  • Download parcel outlines when property data is available for the area

The Map screen includes controls for starting, pausing, and stopping a tracking session, along with quick access to saved patterns and exports.

Planning Tools

The Planning Tools screen is built for planning work before you head into the field.

It can be used to draw and estimate:

  • Fences
  • Gates
  • Water lines
  • Electric lines
  • Troughs
  • Paths or roads
  • Slabs
  • Coverage areas and patterns

From Planning Tools you can also:

  • Save a pattern
  • Reopen a saved pattern
  • Export a KML file
  • Send a plan to the Map screen
  • Build an estimate from the plan

Pasture Estimator

The Pasture Estimator turns a plan into material and labor totals. It can calculate pricing for:

  • Fence wire
  • Fence posts
  • Water line
  • Electrical line
  • Gates
  • Troughs
  • Paths
  • Concrete slabs
  • Labor

This makes it useful for both planning and quoting.

Garden Planner

FarmPath also includes a Garden Planner for garden-bed layouts.

The Garden Planner supports:

  • Drawing and saving garden layouts
  • Undo and redo
  • Satellite background snapshots
  • Seed catalog access
  • PDF export
