Dictionary
The Dictionary holds corrections and terms that TypeWhisper applies to your transcriptions, plus built-in term packs you can toggle on and off. Dictionary corrections and vocabulary boosting run as part of the dictation post-processing pipeline.

Dictionary entries cover corrections and terms that the transcription pipeline applies. Each entry supports the following:
| Attribute | Description |
|---|---|
| Starring | Mark an entry as starred. |
| Priority | Set the entry's priority. |
| Source | How the entry originated: Manual, Import, CorrectionSuggestion, or AutoLearned. |
| Times applied | How many times the entry has been applied to transcriptions. |
| Times corrected | How many times the entry has been corrected. |
Entries sourced from CorrectionSuggestion and AutoLearned come from edits you make in History, where correction suggestions are generated and optionally auto-learned into the dictionary.
📸 Screenshot needed: A single dictionary entry expanded to show starring, priority, source label, and the times-applied / times-corrected counters.
TypeWhisper ships built-in term packs that you can enable or disable with toggles. Turn on the packs relevant to your vocabulary to improve recognition of those terms.

Vocabulary boosting from the dictionary is applied in the dictation post-processing pipeline, so your terms and corrections shape the text after transcription. This works alongside dictionary corrections during the same post-processing stage.
