Languages

English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish and Russian (since 2026-10-08, with км/ч, км and л/100 км). Pick from Settings → System → Language (independent of the unit's language); it also reaches the companion and the second screen. One voice language for everything; the AI mechanic's Answers language can differ. On a unit in a language Dashwheel isn't translated into, the voice, dates and numbers follow the English text.

Translating: strings live in app/src/main/res/values-<lang>/strings_<area>.xml. python tools/check_translations.py checks every string exists in all languages with the same placeholders (CI fails otherwise).

Units

Settings → System → Units: km/h or mph, °C or °F, 12 h or 24 h clock, currency for fuel prices. Spoken lines use full words (kilometres, revs, kilometres an hour) and counts use proper plurals.
