count_user_sv_contribution

jaybgager edited this page Sep 29, 2026 · 1 revision

This function counts how many unique supervoxels each user was responsible for adding or removing in order to produce a proofread segment. Each user can only get credit for each supervoxel once, but each supervoxel may be credited to multiple users. This happens most often when one user merges together two segments into a single structure, but another user attaches that structure to the final segment. In such a case, both users will be credited for adding the supervoxels in the attached structure.

Arguments:

  • datastack (string, mandatory)
    • the name of the CAVE datastack the segment ID is from (e.g. "brain_and_nerve_cord")
  • completed_seg_id (integer, mandatory)
    • the segment ID of a completed cell

Returns:

  • counts (dictionary)
    • dictionary with user IDs as keys and supervoxel counts as values

Example

INPUT:

import tracertools as tt

contribs = tt.count_user_sv_contribution(
    datastack = "brain_and_nerve_cord",
    completed_seg_id = 720575941609391725,
)

print(contribs)

OUTPUT:

{
    '5098': 2957,
    '5017': 7366,
    '2815': 253
}
