General

Q. Where can I find update notes for RMU and its modules?
A. You can find them in this repository under Releases: Update notes.

Game settings

Q. How do I change the language used in the RMU system?
A. You can switch languages by going to the Game Settings sidebar, click the Configure Settings button. In the Game Setting dialog, select Core on the sidebar and scroll down until you find Language Preference. RMU is available in English, French and Swedish. Only the RMU interface (actor sheets, items, chat cards, etc.) will switch languages. The journals have not been translated.

Q. Can I change how much DP characters get each level?
A. There isn't a way to change the DP available per level at the moment. As a temporary workaround, you could ask your players to add flaws during level up to the right value. Once they have finished levelling, the GM can use the Inspector tab to delete the flaws.

Modules

Q. What modules do you recommend?
A. Check out this page of the wiki for our reommended modules and their links: Recommended RMU Compatible Modules.

Q. Do I need to use FA Nexus to be able to use the Forgotten Adventure's topdown token integration feature with Creature Law I?
A. No. The FA Nexus module is a great way to browse the Forgotten Adventure's assets while in game, but it is much easier to download the topdown tokens from their website, extract them into your game's data folder and then, in the Creature Law settings, point it to the new folder.

Core Law: Character sheets

Q. How do I enter height and weight for a character instead of having the system roll it randomly?
A. The GM can override the randomly generated values by typing over them in the character sheet.

Q. Can you just enter your own stats rather than going through the normal stat generation system?
A. Yes. When you create a character you are offered three methods to generate stats: roll, purchase or enter stats. Check out Character Creation for more information.

Q. What is the effect of marking skills are favorites?
A. In the character sheet, none yet (but it's on the roadmap). However, if you use the Argon Combat HUD for RMU, then it allows you to filter skills to just your favorites.

Spell Law I

Q. How do I add a spell list to a character?
A. Spell lists are added on the Skills tab of the Character sheet, by adding the relevant Base, Open, Closed or Restricted Spell List skill.

Q. Is it possible to give characters different or additional closed or base lists? I imagine a Cleric of a Storm God that has access to Light Law for example.
A. Import the Spell List from the Spell Law compendium then give it a different name, change its list type (base, open, closed), its realm and profession (if a base list). To change the profession just drag the Profession "item" from either the compendium or from your Items sidebar is you have imported it or created your own.

Creature Law I

Q. Can I drag generic goblins, orcs, etc out of Creature Law?
A. Creature Law I compendium includes every creature that has a stat block in the book which can be dragged directly to the cnvas and is ready to use (the system even generates equipment that is mentioned in the creature stats/description). Playable races are not included in Creature Law I so you would need to create them like other playable races. Once Creature Law II is published, you will be able to create your own creatures.
