Levelling up is similar to Character Creation except you are only rolling for stat gains, buying talents or buying off flows, and buying ranks in skills.

Adding experience

Experience is tracked in the top right of the character sheet. If you hove over the XP value it will show "ADD".

Add Experience Button

Clicking this will open a dialog where you can add experience.

Add Experience Dialog

If you add enough experience to increase in level, a "Level Up" button will appear beneath the Experience.

Level Up Button

The action bar will now show information about levelling up and if you navigate to the Character tab you can roll for stat gains. Note that you can level up in any order. The action bar will track your progress and it will only allow you to finish levelling up once you have complete.

Stat gain rolls

Your first two rolls are "free" and any additional rolls you make will cost 4 DP. The Total Gain column has a button next to each stat showing the stat gain roll for the current temporary value. A warning triangle will appear next to any stat where raising the temporary value will offer no more benefit.

If you roll a stat gain and want to undo it, click the value in the New Temp column.

Buying talents or buying off flaws

You can increase or decrease the tiers of existing talents or flaws on the talents tab during level up and it will track the DP cost or refund. You can also add new talents by dragging them from the compendium or items sidebar onto the sheet.

Buying ranks in skills

You can add up to 2 ranks in each skill (and add new skills or skill specializations). If your world has "Intense Training" enabled, then you may be able to buy more than 2 ranks.
