Item templates

Item templates are available to create your own items which can be split into two broad categories.

Items used to create characters:

• Cultures
• Professions
• Races
• Skills (Not yet editable)
• Spell Lists (and, from within the new item, new Spells)
• Talents (Not yet editable)
• Unarmed attacks (Not yet editable)

Equipment Items to be used by characters:

• Ammo
• Armor
• Coins
• General Equipment
• Herbs
• Shields
• Weapons

Some items can be enchanted with effects. More information is available on the Equipment page.

Creating a new item from a template

In Foundry's Item sidebar click the Create Item button. A dialog will open allowing you to name the new item, select which template to use and (optionally) put the new item inside a folder in the sidebar once it is created.
