You can see all the talents on a character on the Talent tab. Some talents are already configured and their effects are fully automated within the system. Other talents are currently on descriptive and the players/GM must take account of them manually. More talents will be automated as the system is updated.
Talents and flaws can be added to a character:
- during character creation: drag a race to the actor sheet. That race's predefined talents will be added to the character. No other changes can be made to talents at this stage.
- during levelling up: during levelling up (including when moving from level 0 to level 1) talents and flaws can be removed from a character, additional tiers added, or new talents and flaws added, e.g., by dragging them from the compendium to the sheet. The DP cost for the talents are then included in the total DP budget/spend for that level.
Some talents are already configured such as the Decreased Size talent shown in the image above. Some talents, when included in a race, are also configured, but when added from the compendium will require configuration. These have an edit symbol to the left of their description, such as the Prodigy talent. Clicking edit will open the Talent Configuration dialog. This will show you the options you can choose. Once configured, the configuration will be shown below the talent's description.
