Loop End

Rather than terminating at a Dead End where all Lanes are abruptly bounded, a Loop End bounds a Road Segment with a turnaround where lane structure is preserved. At its smallest, a Loop End appears to be a cul de sac with a small island in the middle.

An analysis of the lane structure and geometry reveals that an End Loop behaves much like a forced u-turn:

So we see that a Loop End bounds a Road Segment with a Median and a compelled u-turn.
