<gawainlynch> ping Bopp carsonfull gawainlynch rarila rixbeck rossriley SahAssar slick0
<Bopp> Pong!! :-)
<phillipp> po%&!§$
<Bopp> don't curse, phillipp
<gawainlynch> SahAssar: At the same drinking spot?
<Bopp> :-p
* rixbeck raise his right hand
<gawainlynch> Get here earlier, phillipp
<phillipp> sorry, some packages of my reply were broken. turned on microwave or something :D
<Bopp> hey, rixbeck, SahAssar
<gawainlynch> …I prepare the ping early
<gawainlynch> Afternoon, Rix
<gawainlynch> Yo SahAssar ;-)
<rixbeck> afternoon guys
<SahAssar> gawainlynch: nah, that was doxxed :D
<gawainlynch> OK… let's get rolling
<Bopp> brb, building a GUI in VB to trace your IP.
<gawainlynch> Quick an easy one first… Dropping the "composer install" part of the Travis acceptance test runs
<Bopp> gawainlynch: What're the pros/cons?
<gawainlynch> That is giving us more grief than benefit right now… if there is a Composer package change, tests can break until a new version of Bolt is tagged, etc
<gawainlynch> Cons I think are negated by the fact that we now use it as a base install target
<Bopp> ah, right..
<gawainlynch> s/base/default/
<Bopp> let's get rid of it then.. should speed up Travis a tiny bit too, right?
<gawainlynch> Bopp: Yeah, that and what you just merged should take 5-7 minutes off
<Bopp> sweet
<gawainlynch> SahAssar: Want to lead on — Google Street Maps requiring API key
<gawainlynch> Merges are obviously in
<gawainlynch> …I have filled in Bopp on what's up
<SahAssar> no good solution... either we have our mapserver or require key
<Bopp> :-)
<phillipp> +1 for building BoltMaps, the new and better google maps :D
<rossriley> here
<gawainlynch> SahAssar: From your PoV as core team, you're comfortable with the current work around… and if so, is there anything outstanding?
<gawainlynch> Evening, rossriley
<Bopp> Hey rossriley
<gawainlynch> rossriley try.bolt.cm at the Docker end
<Bopp> SahAssar: and using OSM?
<gawainlynch> …still giving us huge problems
<SahAssar> no, the current works, but it makes volt more convoluted
<gawainlynch> rossriley: Looks to be on 3.0.0 and the front page gives a Twig exception
<Bopp> SahAssar: yes, i don't really like a key being required.. Was wondering if OSM could be used without a key..
<rossriley> gawainlynch: it’s the missing api call on the new extensions site...
<SahAssar> bopp: maps, yes, geocoding, no.
<Bopp> SahAssar: aaah, right.
<gawainlynch> rossriley: Ah, any hints on what that is?
<SahAssar> unless we have start a geocoding server
<rossriley> https://extensions.bolt.cm/list/downloaded.json
<Bopp> SahAssar: and http://nominatim.openstreetmap.org/ ? would that work?
<gawainlynch> rossriley: You mean that all those values shouldn't be NULL? :-P
<gawainlynch> Thank you btw
<SahAssar> bopp: if selfhosted, yes
<Bopp> ugh, nooooo
<Bopp> We'd not want to self-host anything
<rossriley> gawainlynch: I’m guessing so ye
<rossriley> is the old site still available on a domain?
<gawainlynch> rossriley: I think if you have a hosts entry that Apache is still listening
<Bopp> gawainlynch: 46.17.0.55
<gawainlynch> rossriley: Yeah, still listening on that IP
<gawainlynch> OK… last one from me… division/prioritisation of effort … any "wishes"?
<Bopp> Can only speak for myself, but i'd like for me to focus more on "frontend" of the backend, and to community stuff.
<Bopp> as in, bringing more people to Bolt.
<Bopp> other than that, we need more/better docs.
<Bopp> as in, not just factual descriptions of stuff, but actual readably docs
<gawainlynch> OK… anything more to raise anyone?
<Bopp> I'm good for now.. Next week i'll hopefully have any coding done. :-)
<gawainlynch> Next week I am in Austria ;-)
