Open the Connections window from the second glass button at the foot of the sidebar. It lists every request through the core, live.

App (icon and name) · target host:port · time open (green dot) or duration · route (Proxy, Direct or Block) with the rule that sent it there, or "No rule · " · bytes sent and received. Click a column to sort.
- Group by (in the filter menu, under the route filter): No grouping, By Host or By Application. Related domains and apps from the same vendor share a row; groups show counts and total traffic.
- Filter: All / Open, and All / Proxy / Direct / Block; search apps and targets.
- Colours: orange App's proxy setting for apps that use V2Mac's port by their own setting; purple Config fallback for traffic routed by an imported config's own rules.
- Event log at the bottom: each connection as it opens and closes.
-
Right-click a connection: open the app or show it (or a command-line tool's exact file) in Finder; open the site in the browser (web ports); add the app or the host to a rule (Add App to Rule, Add Host to Rule); Show Rule opens the rule behind it in the Rules window.
- Details lists everything known about it (IP address, open and close times, bytes, route and rule, inbound and outbound, source port, process, PID, paths); choosing a line copies it.
- Copy copies the target, host, IP address, paths, PID, or all details as text. With several rows selected: copy their targets or details.
- Clear removes closed rows and the log.
The Map tab shows a globe with an arc per country your open connections go to, plus Requests and Top apps cards. Countries come from the address (TUN mode, or IP targets) via geoip.dat, else from the site's country ending (.de). Nothing is looked up outside your Mac.
- Connections are recorded only while this window or the Rules window is open.
- App names come from
nettopand need no extra permission. Very short connections may close before they are matched and show no app. - In TUN mode V2Mac matches the app's own connection through the tunnel, so most rows still show the app.
- At most 1,000 rows and 2,000 log lines are kept.
