Loyal Companions

Loyal Companions turns friendly animals into companions that stay with you: they follow you, fight for you, level up, learn a species ability, carry items and can be stored away whenever you like. Bind a wolf, a fox, a horse, a villager or almost any other friendly mob with a Capture Charm and it becomes part of your team.

Highlights

  • A team and an archive – up to six team slots and an archive for many more. Store a companion with one click from anywhere, even when it waits in an unloaded chunk or another dimension. See Team and Archive.
  • Levels, skills and rarities – companions earn XP, spend skill points on four attributes and roll a rarity when you bind them. See Leveling and Skills.
  • Species abilities – a wolf hits harder, a cat gives you night vision, a goat lets you jump higher. See Species Abilities.
  • Command wheel – hold a key and point: follow, wait, protect, hunt, attack the mob you looked at, come here. See Behavior and Orders.
  • Real inventory – nine slots (eighteen for enhanced companions), gear, an amulet, a gem and a food slot it eats from on its own. It can even pick up loot for you. See Inventory and Equipment.
  • No sudden deaths – companions get wounded first, you can save them with a bandage, and a fallen companion comes back at the Companion Shrine. See Injuries and Revival.
