There is no single ringmaster and no single show; the Playa reinvents itself nightly, drawing its acts from whichever stories most need telling to stay alive. Threadlings say a StoryWeaver who is lost - truly lost, in Memory or Imagination or Spirit - need only find their way to Performance Playa, where somewhere, in some tent, someone is telling the very story they need to hear.
