The Diwan Dunes

A StoryQuest region within the SunSpun Sands, dedicated to stories of Arabic culture drawn from the world of Earth. Here the dunes are said to hold the shape of a thousand-and-one tales at once, shifting to reveal a different court, caravan, or hidden garden to each traveller who crosses them with an honest question in mind.

The Diwan takes its name from the great open councils once held beneath its star-wide skies, where StoryWeavers gather to trade tales the way merchants elsewhere trade cloth. Storytellers native to the Dunes hold that a story told well enough can shelter a traveller from the desert night better than any tent, and in the Diwan Dunes, that is rarely just a saying.
