SeedSingers

Weftborn cultivators who sing the living world into being. Where the SongSmiths forge lasting Song, the SeedSingers work smaller and closer to the soil, shaping each SongSeed with the Spirit sung directly into it before it is planted. A SongSeed grown this way does not merely feed - it remembers being sung to, and is said to carry something of that first Spirit into whatever it becomes: food, medicine, textile, or dye.

SeedSingers are found wherever Threadbare's settlements need tending, though they are most numerous near the Song Sanctuaries, where singing to the land is simply how things are grown. Their harvests are prized well beyond their home regions - a SeedSinger's dye is said to never fully fade, and their medicine to work a little more gently than the ingredients alone would explain.
