Lungfish are ancient, aggressive freshwater fish. There are 4 variants. They are solitary creatures and do not form schools.

Behavior

Movement

Lungfish swim in water and are also capable of moving on land. When out of water on a diggable block (such as dirt, sand, clay, or gravel), they will curl up. Unlike most fish, lungfish will not die on land.

Estivation

Lungfish are relatively inactive, resting for long periods and moving infrequently. They are more active at night.

Breathing

Lungfish can breathe both in and out of water, and will not suffocate on land.

Breeding
