Behavior

Movement

Sawfish swim slowly and prefer to stay near the bottom. They are largely inactive during the day but become significantly more active at night. Sawfish cannot be picked up in a water bucket. They are solitary and do not school.

Aggression

Sawfish are neutral and will retaliate if hurt, but will only pursue their attacker for a short time before giving up. They will also actively hunt and attack cod.
