Trumpetfish are long, slender predatory fish found in tropical ocean biomes. There are 3 species.
Trumpetfish drift slowly and tend to stay near the bottom when not moving. When idle, they tilt their body vertically to blend in with their surroundings. They are very inactive, moving infrequently.
Trumpetfish are predatory and will actively hunt and attack Blue Tangs. They are otherwise passive.
Trumpetfish can be fed Fish Food to breed. They are solitary and always spawn alone.
Trumpetfish spawn in warm ocean biomes.
Trumpetfish drop tropical fish.
Each species has distinct subvariants. Chinese trumpetfish has 4, Atlantic Trumpetfish has 3, Western Atlantic Trumpetfish has 6.
