Whistling Ducks are upright, long-legged ducks found near wetlands. There are 4 species.

Behavior

Whistling Ducks walk along the ground and swim in water. They are capable swimmers with an enhanced swim speed. Being diurnal, they sleep at night.

Adult whistling ducks periodically shed a Duck Feather, dropping one every 5–10 minutes if the feather drop config option is enabled.

Whistling Ducks are shy and will flee from players within 16 blocks.

The White-Faced Whistling Duck has a unique call distinct from the other species.

Breeding

Whistling Ducks can be bred with pumpkin seeds, wheat seeds, beetroot seeds, seagrass, kelp, and grass.

Spawn

Whistling Ducks spawn in swamp and mangrove biomes.
