Marabous are large scavenging storks. There are 3 species. They display sexual dimorphism between males and females.
Marabous fly around and walk on the ground, actively avoiding water. Being diurnal, they sleep at night. Baby marabous will stay still and not wander.
Marabous will occasionally stop and perform a grooming animation. They will not groom while sleeping or swimming.
Marabous are shy and will avoid players within 6 blocks.
Marabous can be bred with rotten flesh or raw cod.
Marabous follow a flock leader and gather in groups of up to 10.
Marabous spawn in savanna biomes.
