TACT — Tactical Arena Control Tool

TACT is a handheld game controller for airsoft and other field games. It runs the game for you: it keeps the clock, handles the objective (a bomb, a control point, a passcode, respawn tickets), decides the winner and keeps the stats. Several TACT devices can link over Wi-Fi and play one game together.

Version 1.5.0. New versions are published on the GitHub Releases page and can be installed from the device (Updating).

Features

  • Eight game modes: DETONATION, DOMINATION, KING OF THE HILL, PASSCODE, RESPAWN WAVES, SEQUENCE, TEAM DEATHMATCH and UNDERWORLD COMMANDOS. Every one can be played on a single device or across linked devices. UNDERWORLD COMMANDOS is a CLASSIFIED mission, played with a clearance code (Clearance).
  • Multiplayer: one device hosts, up to three more join. The host sets the game up, every device starts on the same countdown, and the host collects everyone's results at the end.
  • Phone remote: run the game from your phone's browser: a live copy of the host's screen to control it, and every device's live stats (Phone remote).
  • Stats: every game is recorded, per power-on session, with an all-time summary per game mode.
  • Sounds: game sound effects, and a location beep that helps you find a device on the field.
  • Touchscreen with large, high-contrast controls, and full support for an optional handheld controller: every menu and game works with its stick and buttons (Controller).
