Menu: Start

• START - (Option 7)

  • Overview: Starts the Plex Media Server process if programatic control is available.

  • Availability: On platforms which support it, and when run with sufficient privilege ('root'), selecting start (or 7) starts Plex Media Server directly. If DBRepair cannot control services on your host, the menu instead reads (Not available. Start manually.), and you must start the server yourself. If Plex Media Server is already running, DBRepair says so.

  • Safety status: Safe.
