Menu: Status

• STATus - (Option 11): Report Status of PMS (Run-State and Databases)

  • Overview: Reports whether Plex Media Server is running or stopped, and the state of the databases for this session: damaged or OK, bloated or not bloated, and percent fragmented for each of main and blobs, plus the search index (FTS) state.

  • Availability: May be run at any time, including while Plex Media Server is running.

  • Technical quirks & behavior: The database and search index state comes from the most recent Check in this session. If the databases have not been checked yet, Status says the state is unknown rather than checking them.

  • Safety status: Safe — read-only.
