Supported Hosts

DBRepair auto-detects the host environment at startup. Supported CPU types are X86_64, Arm64 and Arm32. DBRepair must be run locally on the host where the data resides.

Currently supported hosts are:

• QNAP
• Synology (Syno)
• Netgear
• MacOS
• ASUSTOR
• Western Digital (OS5)
• Linux workstation/server
• SNAP
• FreeBSD 14+
• Windows (native executable)

Currently supported container images:

• Plex, Inc.
• LinuxServer
• HotIO
• BINHEX

Containers are entered with docker exec. Podman is also supported.

If your host or container image isn't recognized automatically, Manual Configuration is available via the --databases command-line option (see Command line options and Manual configuration)

Note:

For most operating systems root/Administrator rights are needed to run DBRepair.
