Build, connect, and troubleshoot your workshop. These guides describe the current playable game, including Creative testing. Save checkpoints preserve worlds and their stored resources across restarts.
Start here:
- Machine interfaces — identify the machine you opened and find its controls.
- Items — browse icons, item uses and individual recipes.
- Crafting recipes — complete reference for crafting and processing recipes.
- Tools and durability — faster tiers, remaining uses and worn-tool storage.
- Pipes and wrench — all-face connections, blue input/red output arrows and hands-on setup.
- Build a multiblock tank — exact shopping list, each layer, outward-facing controls, filling and repairs.
- Pumps and renewable water — intake height, a 2×2 source pool, and pumping without electricity.
- Electricity, batteries and battery banks — generate power, store surplus, and keep machines running when generation stops.
- Wooden doors — crafting, manual opening and blue cable control.
- Blue Signal and separate connections — switches, valves, sensors and fitted pipes.
Browse the item pages for crafting grids, processing recipes and gathering instructions. Every item icon opens its page. In the game, open your inventory, find an item in the right-hand catalog, and inspect its recipe. Industrial assemblies require the Machinist’s Bench (4×4); the browser shows the required station and ingredients.
In Creative, mining is instant, even with fists. Fists or held non-tool items remove blocks without drops (including their contents); use a tool to recover items and stored resources. Bedrock remains protected. Survival mining is unchanged.
Actual Creative mining captures, 13 September 2026: fists leave no item pile; a selected tool recovers the block. Break particles are visual effects, not collectible items.

In Creative, drag items from the catalog into an empty inventory or hotbar slot. Double-tap Space to toggle flight; Space rises and Shift descends in flight. On foot, Shift crouches and Ctrl runs; double-tapping forward also starts running. Controls can be rebound. Use E or right-click to open machinery; signal and shaft controls are relative to the machine’s visible front. Power and supported item/fluid pipes connect on every face. To change a pipe-end direction, hold a Wrench and right-click its machine-facing end.
New machines face you when placed. Use ROTATE 90° in their interface to adjust existing placements. Configured pipe directions stay fixed when the machine rotates.

Build a Workbench for 3×3 crafting, store supplies in a Chest, and process materials in a Furnace. The Machinist’s Bench expands crafting to 4×4.
Use Escape → Save Game to create or update a checkpoint. Load Game chooses a named save or previous backup; Continue Latest Save on the title resumes the newest checkpoint. Save & Quit saves first. Closing the window does not autosave. Creative mode and flight reset on load, while saved items and construction remain.
-
Electric Furnace — smelting and cooking with electricity.
-
Lava — deep lakes, buckets and burning hazards.
-
Floater — hovering stone enemies and Floater Rock drops.
Drain finite lava deposits with a Ranged Liquid Pump, crafted from a Pump and Floater Rock.
-
Bridges and chunk loaders — named remote item, liquid and power connections, with active distant workshops.
-
Farming and cooking — wild crops, fibre and basic/electric food preparation.
-
Food and hunger — eating, saturation and meal planning.
-
Mobs — Rustback beetles, Dusk prowlers and Floaters; encounters, combat and persistence.
-
Compost — organic surplus, crop acceleration and bin automation.
Lighting and underground farms explains cave skylights and growing crops with placed torches.
-
Fishing — rod crafting, deep source-water ponds, bite timing and fish meals.
-
Chickens — lead, breed and raise a persistent flock; collect eggs and cook meals.
Building and inventory shortcuts cover middle-click organisation, Pick Block and hoe replanting. Rare Floater spawner rooms provide another route to encounter Floaters during underground exploration.
-
Spawn mechanics — light, floors, distances, natural populations, cage caps and persistent chickens.
-
Beds and home spawn — craft a bed, set home and sleep until morning.
Crates and warehouses explains single-item bulk storage, manual type locks, visible contents, connected controllers and the machine-first pipe priority.
-
Item-pipe routing — editable receiver priorities, compatible destinations and round-robin overflow.
-
Weather — clear skies, rain, storms, shelter and saved weather.
Renewable power: craft solar panels and wind turbines, connect machines and share surplus between batteries.
- Performance diagnostics — read frame, tick and worker timings with F12.
- Factory stress-test gallery — actual factory, storm and farm captures from the pre-0.1.0 review.
