Pre-Meeting Notes

• Demo
  • Had the demo for Rapid Prototyping – now working on going away from Streamlit, and to a React Frontend + FastAPI Backend
  • Show demo
  • Wanted to get them linked together and write hooks – Travis and Chris will be owning frontend
    • Will be fleshing it out – have some inspo, will be mocking up this week and then implementing over the weekend
  • We are also all iterating on the rec algorithm, with the two Joeys leading the way
    • We are looking into an algo called Find and Filter – iterative layers of searching
  • Will finish + maybe even launch to old friends by early next week
• In addition, also working on looking into needfinding side of things
  • Trying to reach out to some folks in the ecom space, focusing on generating better recs for conversion

Meeting Notes

• Jay: overall, bullish. He likes that we're thinking about different ways of adoption, and also thinking about what types of products work best.
  • Also believes that books are a good category, and that clothing maybe won't naturally transfer, but that other items will. Will think about how to remedy this.
• Evan: still a little cautious about books, but overall thinks ideas make sense. Stressed concept of working on-prem/sensitivity of data to an org. Really have to make a self-serve solution.
