Date: 1/31
Background: Former CEO of StubHub
- Find an acute, persistent problem, people will pay even if product isn't 100% effective.
- Analyze macro-trends, increasing wealth and people want to spend in meaningful ways, EV charging stations
- Increasing number of gig-workers/independents, don't get benefits like health insurance that normal employment provides, no dollar benefit for gig-workers
- Someone that acted like an employer to negotiate better rates for contractors/independents like a company does
- Give independent contractors insight into what opportunities give them the most value, and where they should be spending their time (like deciding to drive lyft/uber, or do something else)
- get into someone's shoes and see how they operate
